2022年8月11日，美國(guó)環(huán)境保護(hù)署（EPA）對(duì)其安全化學(xué)成分清單（SCIL）進(jìn)行了更新。SCIL是一份經(jīng)EPA Safer Choice標(biāo)準(zhǔn)認(rèn)證、按功能用途類別劃分的化學(xué)物質(zhì)動(dòng)態(tài)清單。
▌EPA將22種化學(xué)物質(zhì)加入SCIL
在本次更新中，EPA向SCIL添加了22種化學(xué)物質(zhì)。為了擴(kuò)大SCIL中的化學(xué)物質(zhì)數(shù)量和功能用途類別，EPA鼓勵(lì)制造商將其更為安全的化學(xué)物質(zhì)提交EPA審查并列入SCIL。出于支持政府的目的，在SCIL中添加化學(xué)物質(zhì)可以激勵(lì)更安全化學(xué)的進(jìn)一步創(chuàng)新，這可以促進(jìn)環(huán)境正義，增強(qiáng)對(duì)氣候變化影響的抵御能力，并改善水質(zhì)。SCIL所列的化學(xué)物質(zhì)是其功能使用最安全的化學(xué)品之一。

▌EPA將1種化學(xué)物質(zhì)移出SCIL
隨著對(duì)其潛在的對(duì)健康和環(huán)境的影響有了更多了解，EPA將在1年后將1種化學(xué)物質(zhì)（CAS# 452080-64-7）從SCIL中刪除。這種化學(xué)物質(zhì)最初是基于與其密切相關(guān)的物質(zhì)的數(shù)據(jù)列入SCIL的，而這些物質(zhì)屬于在今年早些時(shí)候由FDA移出SCIL的兩種PFAS物質(zhì)（CAS# 34455-29-3 ＆ CAS# 452080-67-0）。
EPA去除SCIL中化學(xué)物質(zhì)的過(guò)程是，首先在SCIL網(wǎng)頁(yè)上用灰色方框標(biāo)記該化學(xué)物質(zhì)，以向化學(xué)物質(zhì)和產(chǎn)品制造商發(fā)出公告通知，告知該化學(xué)品可能不再可用于Safer Choice認(rèn)證產(chǎn)品。SCIL中的灰色方框符號(hào)表示該化學(xué)物質(zhì)可能不被允許用于“Safer Choice”標(biāo)簽候選產(chǎn)品，并且任何當(dāng)前含有該化學(xué)物質(zhì)的Safer Choice認(rèn)證產(chǎn)品都必須重新進(jìn)行配制，除非提供相關(guān)的健康和安全數(shù)據(jù)來(lái)證明繼續(xù)將該化學(xué)物質(zhì)列于SCIL是合理的。所需數(shù)據(jù)將根據(jù)具體情況確定。一般而言，相關(guān)有用的數(shù)據(jù)將提供其對(duì)人類健康和環(huán)境影響力度較低的證據(jù)。除非向EPA提供的數(shù)據(jù)信息足以證明繼續(xù)將該化學(xué)物質(zhì)列于SCIL是合理的，否則該化學(xué)物質(zhì)將在灰色方框指定后12個(gè)月從SCIL中刪除。
